Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center Parking Study - Miami, Florida For Maefield Development, TimHaahs provided parking consulting services for the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center in Miami to determine the number of parking spaces required to serve the development. TimHaahs reviewed the program details for the proposed development to determine the estimated number of spaces needed for the center, as well as the surrounding area. TimHaahs used our shared parking model to identify demand projections. TimHaahs also performed a financial analysis for the proposed 1600 -space facility. TimHaahs determined that the proposed garage would be a valuable component for the overall plan. The parking facility would serve patrons in the immediate vicinity, as well as provide parking for park and ride users of the Metro Mover or bus station directly north of the proposed development. The proposed facility would capture southbound vehicle traffic prior to entering the core of downtown, helping to reduce traffic and congestion. Integrating parking in conjunction with the adjacent mass transit stations would encourage commuters to walk around downtown, helping to spark further activity in the area.
