Brickell Financial Center Phase II Parking Consulting Services - Miami, Florida TimHaahs provided parking consulting services for the Brickell Financial Center Phase II project in Miami, FL. TimHaahs joined the Skidmore Owings & Merrill team for the “Class A” office building which includes a 1300-space parking garage. The center’s location next to Metromover transit stop will alleviate traffic congestion in the area by linking it to Downtown Miami. The development will also provide further connections to the Brickell Avenue area, as well as the Metro-Rail connection to Miami-Dade County. TimHaahs reviewed the design team’s parking scheme and provided recommendations related to both functionality and operational concerns. TimHaahs advised the developer on the advantages/disadvantages of the developed scheme. TimHaahs assessed the operational concepts for the parking component, as well as reviewed the structural design, plumbing, and electrical components of the facility. During construction documentation, TimHaahs reviewed construction drawings, specifications and documentation to conform to the Owner’s requirements for the parking facility.
