Camden County Improvement Authority Parking Garage - Camden, New Jersey

For the Camden County Improvement Authority (CCIA), TimHaahs designed a mixed-use parking structure at the corner of South Broadway and Benson Streets in Camden, New Jersey.



Constructed on an existing surface lot, the nine level, 1,604 space garage includes approximately 9,500 square feet of retail space along South Broadway. In addition, a loading area is located inside to service these establishments.

The façade features a combination of thin brick patterns, concrete finishes, and reveals, creating an inviting atmosphere for the structure, which is intended to serve as a catalyst for revitalization in the community.

The garage is connected to Cooper University Hospital by an enclosed pedestrian walkway. It serves hospital employees and visitors, as well as the surrounding neighborhood.
