Clayton State University Parking/Security Improvement Designs - Morrow, Georgia In 2007, for Clayton State University, TimHaahs prepared a new campus traffic and pedestrian circulation plan. CSU is currently planning a new student housing project at the University. The University, concerned about the demand and impact created by the new housing development, as well as existing circulation issues, sought TimHaahs’ assistance in designing solutions for their campus. TimHaahs suggested several infrastructure improvements, including a new campus loop road for improving student circulation, new curb cuts and turn lanes for improving campus ingress and egress, and the introduction of a new Security Office for managing the ingress and egress of students and visitors. This office will provide active security for the new student housing complex, creating additional infrastructure for campus security. ![]() CSU is moving forward with the various recommendations. The first project consisted of the new Security Office. TimHaahs served as prime designer of the new facility, which includes a variable message sign, security cameras, access control and other features to help Clayton State better serve their students and staff.
