College of New Jersey Armstrong Hall Parking Garage - Ewing, New Jersey The College of New Jersey experienced an enrollment increase, necessitating the construction of structured parking facilities to satisfy the parking demand on the campus.  The Armstrong Hall Parking Garage provides 142 parking spaces within a two level parking structure. It was designed to be as inconspicuous as possible, and complement the surrounding environment of dense woods and brick buildings. As the project’s prime design firm, TimHaahs was responsible for complete architectural and engineering design services. The architectural treatments included brick inlaid spandrels on all four sides and a colonial stairtower featuring brick archways and a slate roof. The parking facility measures 169’ x 154’ and utilizes a precast structural system. Each parking level has a separate entry/exit with the upper level implementing a card access system. |
