Commonwealth II Parking Garage Design - Chantilly, Virginia For Berwind Property Group, Inc. (BPG), TimHaahs designed a 290-space parking structure in Chantilly, VA. The structure consists of one supported level, and one level located partially underground. TimHaahs designed the garage to match the architectural features of the surrounding building, and utilized precast concrete with sandblast and reveals to complement the surrounding atmosphere. In addition, TimHaahs designed the garage with provisions for future expansion.  The owner required that the entire campus achieve LEED certification. Therefore, for the garage, TimHaahs addressed numerous sustainability issues including energy consumption, materials transportation distances, and recycled content. The parking structure will serve the Commonwealth Center II corporate campus in Chantilly, VA.
