CRDA Mixed-Use Parking Structure - Atlantic City, New Jersey For the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, TimHaahs is providing prime design services for a new 1200-space mixed-use parking structure in Atlantic City. TimHaahs also performed the preliminary parking demand and feasibility study for this project. As part of the study, TimHaahs worked with the CRDA to place the garage in a location that would be effective in creating an active and appealing “people place”. In addition, TimHaahs also made recommendations for the layout of the retail space, so that the area would be an efficient and convenient destination for visitors. ![]() The mixed-use garage will include 18,000 square feet of ground floor retail, as well as space for a parking office. In addition, the structure will also include a number of unique features including potential solar panels on the roof, edge lighting, colored elevator core lighting, metal screening, and LED digital billboard. ![]() These elements will help the structure blend in with the vibrant and exciting atmosphere of the surrounding area, as well as provide an attractive first impression to visitors arriving from the Atlantic City Expressway. Further, by serving the nearby development, the new mixed-use structure will help to contribute to the economic vitality of the area.
