Florida International University Restoration Services - Miami, FL TimHaahs provided condition appraisal and restoration services for the Blue and Gold parking garages located on the main campus of Florida International University in Miami, FL. Both parking garages are identical 1200-space cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete structures serving the students and faculty of the University.   As a result of the condition appraisal, TimHaahs recommended the sealing of a number of column and beam cracks found throughout the facilities, as well as the repair of concrete spalls. TimHaahs also recommended the sealing of all control joints in the floor between the superstructure and stair/elevator towers, and between the post-tensioned slab and slab-on-grade. Upon completion of the condition appraisal, TimHaahs also provided the University with restoration documentation and construction administration services for the two parking structures. Restoration work on both structures was completed in late 2009.
