Gateway Parking Garage Condition Appraisal - Portland, Maine TimHaahs was retained by Noyack Medical Partners to provide condition appraisal and restoration services on the Gateway Parking Garage in Portland, ME. TimHaahs performed field observations, delamination surveys, and materials testing in order to determine the condition of the facility. The results of the condition appraisal determined that the garage was experiencing a significant amount of deterioration as a result of corrosion, salt, and water damage. Areas impacted by the corrosion included the garage slabs, structural steel frame, electrical conduit, and the floors. TimHaahs provided three structural repair options for the garage, with priority assigned to each item to assure life safety, to prevent additional deterioration, and to assure that the load capacity of the structure was not compromised. TimHaahs is currently working with Noyack Medical Partners to provide restoration services for the parking garage repairs.
