Golden Triangle Commuter Parking Garage - East Brunswick, New Jersey TimHaahs designed a 1500-space commuter parking garage as part of the Golden Triangle Mixed-Use Redevelopment Project in East Brunswick, NJ. The garage is designed to facilitate bus transit into New York City for commuters, as an alternative to driving into the city. Constructed over an existing surface lot, the parking structure primarily serves bus commuters. The garage is integrated with a bus terminal, commuter waiting area, ticket office, and restrooms. The Golden Triangle parking structure is unique in that the site is set on a slope, creating opportunities to design entrances/exits on multiple levels. In addition, TimHaahs designed the structure to support three levels of housing for future development. TimHaahs provided architectural services, as well as assisted the developer, Toll Brothers, Inc., in providing structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering services on this challenging project. |
