Grady Memorial Hospital Garage Condition Appraisal - Atlanta, Georgia For Grady Health System, TimHaahs provided condition appraisal services for the Butler Street parking garage at Grady Memorial Hospital. The garage is the primary parking garage serving the hospital campus. TimHaahs identified numerous areas of distress within the structure in need of immediate attention. These included: • expansion joints • membranes over occupied space and on the top tier • spalling concrete • corroded steel • exposed post-tensioning tendons • cracking in floor slabs • leaking around the perimeter. TimHaahs worked with Grady Health System to address and repair these issues to restore the condition of the facility. TimHaahs also assisted the hospital with improving various issues within the structure including better lighting, vehicular signage, and painting and restriping. Each of these improvements will help to restore the Butler Street deck as a much improved asset to serve patients, staff and visitors of the hospital.
