Lancaster Newspapers Parking Study - Lancaster, Pennsylvania Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. (LNP) was in the design phase for the construction of a new parking structure adjacent to the existing LNP Central parking structure. The proposed site was a private, 80 space parking lot one block from the Lancaster County Convention Center which was under construction. For LNP, TimHaahs performed a parking supply/demand analysis, as well as provided recommendations for the proposed parking structure. The primary objective of the study was to determine the current and future parking surplus or deficit for the area. TimHaahs conducted off-street occupancy counts for all surface parking lots, the existing LNP parking garage, and select areas of on-street parking. For this study, TimHaahs analyzed all the current parking supply, occupancy, turnover, adequacy, as well as future parking demand. In addition, TimHaahs also provided recommendations for the design of the future parking structure to make it more efficient and convenient for users.
