Medical College of Georgia Cancer Center Parking Structure - Augusta, Georgia

TimHaahs teamed with Heery/HLM to serve as the prime design firm for a new parking structure at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. The garage will support the expansion of the hospital’s Cancer Center.

TimHaahs designed the 150-space parking structure using a precast concrete frame. The parking deck will be expandable to 300 spaces to accommodate the anticipated growth of the Cancer Center. TimHaahs designed the structure to complement the Cancer Center expansion. Though built on a very tight site, TimHaahs developed a design that is both efficient and user-friendly for visitors to the Center.

Working in a collaborative manner with both Heery/HLM and R.J. Griffin, the project is anticipated to be delivered in less than four months, using a fast track approach.
