Merck & Company South Parking Structure - West Point, Pennsylvania TimHaahs served Merck & Company as the prime design firm for this structure, providing all project management, functional, architectural, structural, and graphic design services for the West Point, PA facility. The garage is dedicated for employee use and provides 1,830 spaces located on seven levels.  The parking facility measures approximately 370' x 228'. The functional design consists of a double threaded helix centered between two flat plates. The traffic flow is one way with 8'-6" wide stalls at an angle of 70 degrees. TimHaahs also designed a vehicular ramp approximately 300' in length, allowing access to a bridge entrance at the third supported level. The bridge was designed in conjunction with a terminus building for pedestrian access in-plant.
