Mercy Health System Parking Structure - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania The Mercy Health System Parking Garage is a 925 space open parking structure located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This five story precast parking structure, completed in June of 1999, provides parking for the two new office buildings adjacent to the garage.  TimHaahs was retained as part of local architect BLM Group’s design team to provide functional, architectural, structural engineering, and parking consulting services for this facility. One of the major challenges to this project was the dramatic elevation difference within the site. In an effort to keep the garage a free standing, fully open structure, TimHaahs had to work closely with the civil engineer in designing a fifty-foot high retaining wall over 400’ in length located just thirty feet from the garage north facade. A pedestrian bridge at the top level of the garage allows employees and visitors to access the adjacent office buildings. |
