Mercy Health System Parking Structure - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

For the Mercy Health System, TimHaahs designed a 925-space parking structure in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This five level precast garage provided parking for two new office buildings adjacent to the garage.

TimHaahs provided functional, architectural, structural engineering, and parking consulting services for the facility. TimHaahs was teamed with BLM Group for this project.



A major challenge presented during this project was the dramatic difference in site elevation. In an effort to keep the garage a free standing, fully open structure, TimHaahs worked closely with the civil engineer to design a fifty-foot high retaining wall over 400’ in length located just thirty feet from the garage’s north facade. A pedestrian bridge at the top level of the garage allows employees and visitors to access the adjacent office buildings.
