Montclair State University Site Evaluation & Financial Feasibility Analysis - Montclair, New Jersey

For Montclair State University, TimHaahs performed a site evaluation and financial feasibility analysis for a potential parking structure on its campus. The study was a result of the University’s growing parking deficit, which was expected to grow over the next several years.



In addition to the parking structure analysis, TimHaahs investigated ways to reallocate the parking supply to better accommodate the needs of the various user groups. TimHaahs incorporated the impact and needs of individual commuters via New Jersey Transit into the analysis of the sites and design concepts. The study concluded with renderings for the most likely sites to construct a parking structure, as well as cost estimates associated with each scenario.
