Norristown Mixed-Use Parking Structure - Norristown, Pennsylvania In 2005, the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority commissioned TimHaahs to design a mixed-use parking structure on the corner of Main and Cherry Streets in Norristown. The parking facility will feature retail frontage along Main Street, and serve the surrounding commercial district and nearby Courthouse. ![]() This mixed-use structure will be important to the revitalization of Main Street. It will serve as a “gateway” to the downtown district, and therefore must create a positive first impression. The architecture of the garage will be contextual, emulating the materials, scale, and proportion of the neighboring buildings. ![]() The Norristown Mixed-Use Parking Facility will serve a wide variety of users throughout the day and evening. The garage is designed to promote openness and safety, and will serve as a catalyst for further development in the town center of Norristown. |
