Norristown Mixed-Use Parking Structure - Norristown, Pennsylvania For the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority, TimHaahs designed a new mixed-use parking structure on Main & Cherry Streets in Norristown, PA. This project was a critical infrastructure project for the Borough of Norristown and the downtown region. The facility features retail frontage along Main Street and serves the surrounding commercial district and nearby Courthouse. ![]() This mixed-use structure is important to the revitalization of Main Street in Norristown. It serves as a “gateway” to the downtown district. The architecture of the garage is contextual, emulating the materials, scale, and proportion of the neighboring buildings. ![]() The facility serves a wide variety of users throughout the day and evening. The garage was designed to promote openness and safety. It is the hope of the Redevelopment Authority and TimHaahs that the new garage will serve as a catalyst for further development in the town center of Norristown.
