Paoli Hospital Parking Structure Design - Paoli, Pennsylvania For Paoli Hospital, TimHaahs provided full design services for a four level, 740-space parking structure at its Paoli, PA campus. The structure serves the hospital’s growing number of patients, staff, and visitors, and allows for future hospital expansion. The garage was constructed on an existing parking lot, which was located on a considerable slope. This issue created a significant challenge for the design. However, it resulted in a unique and innovative look.   In addition, the structure is located near the hospital helipad. The design incorporated appropriate clearance distances for the helipad operation. The facility has three supported tiers and one level at grade. The garage features self-park operations, one-way traffic flow and 8’-6” wide parking stalls, as well as a pay-on-foot, parking access and revenue control system.  The Paoli Hospital garage design includes two stair/elevator towers. In the future these will provide access from the garage to a pedestrian bridge from the fourth tier to the southwest pavilion building of the hospital.
