Philadelphia International Airport Enhancements - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania TimHaahs assisted the Philadelphia Parking Authority in the implementation of their mission statement at their facilities at the Philadelphia International Airport. The design work provided by TimHaahs represents the culmination of a series of airport improvement projects that included two new parking garages, a new toll plaza, considerable road and highway access improvements, and a new international passenger terminal. ![]() The work provided by TimHaahs and its consultants can be divided into four categories, namely vehicular improvements; pedestrian improvements; structural restoration; and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection upgrades. The vehicular improvements included enhancing and improving the existing vehicular entries and circulation routes via the addition of architectural elements, lighting, and directional signage. ![]() Pedestrian enhancements were focused on the multiple elevator lobbies distributed throughout these large parking structures. The lobby upgrades included new finishes and materials as well as new automatic sliding doors to provide traveling patrons with a more pleasant experience. |
