Pratt Street Parking Study - Baltimore, Maryland For the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) TimHaahs performed a comprehensive supply/demand and financial feasibility study of the West Pratt Street site and the surrounding area to determine the feasibility of providing a multi-level parking garage at the site. The new facility will serve a hotel, and the surrounding commercial district, providing essential infrastructure for the downtown area. ![]() TimHaahs conducted a review of existing reports and studies pertinent to the proposed site, as well as performed occupancy and turnover counts, and an inventory of existing parking spaces. Based on the data, TimHaahs determined present and future parking supply and demand. The BDC will provide an oversight of the development of a hotel situated above a parking garage located on the two blocks bound by Paca, Pratt, Howard, and Camden Streets in Center City Baltimore. The site is currently divided into two surface lots, located just north of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The project will be a full service hotel with approximately 756 rooms, two restaurants, 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and an approximately 550 space garage, 100 of which would serve hotel valet purposes. |
