Reading Convention Center Garage Design - Reading, Pennsylvania

For the Reading Parking Authority, TimHaahs designed a new parking structure in downtown Reading. The garage will serve patrons of the adjacent future Doubletree Hotel, as well as the Convention Center located on the ground level of the hotel.

The new 930-space precast parking structure will help to alleviate the parking demands resulting from development in the area. The project is part of a redevelopment and revitalization effort in downtown Reading. The addition of the new convention center and hotel will help to draw more people, as well as make the area a more vibrant and attractive destination.

TimHaahs provided prime design services for the garage, including structural engineering, architectural design, project management and parking consulting. The new parking structure is anticipated to be completed in August 2010.
