Reading Hospital Parking Garage - Reading, Pennsylvania The Reading Hospital and Medical Center’s 7th and Spruce Street Parking Garage provides 910 parking spaces for this growing medical institution. The parking structure provides convenient access to the Hospital’s medical office building via an enclosed 112' long pedestrian bridge that creates a dramatic architectural effect for the facility.  TimHaahs provided functional design, parking signage, parking equipment, and over-the-shoulder consulting design services. TimHaahs also provided the structural engineering design for the pedestrian bridge. The functional layout developed by TimHaahs uses a one-way circulation system with side-by-side interior ramps for vertical movement. The facility includes separate two-lane entry and exit portals. The parking facility includes many user-friendly amenities such as extra-wide stairwells, brightly illuminated parking/driving areas, glass-backed elevators, and long-span construction for better visibility. |
