Reston Town Center Parking Garage Analysis - Reston, Virginia

TimHaahs was engaged by Westera Management, LLC to perform a parking analysis and feasibility study for the entire Reston Town Center mixed-use development. The facility was a combination of office, retail, hotel, and entertainment use. The site encompasses over 5,000 parking spaces.



The study focused on the following:

• Parking supply/demand study utilizing the shared parking analysis method and Fairfax County zoning requirements.


• Parking utilization study to confirm the accuracy of ratios and shared parking percentages.


• Alternate scenarios for parking requirements for higher density user groups of office space.


• Parking functional layouts for two new garages.
