Rowan University Parking Structure - Glassboro, New Jersey

For Rowan University, TimHaahs is providing design services for a new 1000-space parking structure on their campus in Glassboro, NJ. The structure will be located on an existing surface parking lot, and will contain office space on the first floor to accommodate the University’s Public Safety Department.

TimHaahs performed a study to determine the feasibility of constructing the parking garage on the site. The feasibility study helped to define the boundary of the site. Additionally, TimHaahs worked with the University to help plan for additional development in the area surrounding the site, as well as develop opportunities for creating a more active and vibrant environment.

The project site is located adjacent to the Borough of Glassboro’s proposed town center development. The new structure will have a positive effect on the Rowan campus, as well as help to create a connection between the University and the Borough’s downtown community.
