Temple University Carlisle Parking Structure - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Temple University retained Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. in 2003 to provide parking planning and design for a 790 space parking garage to serve the University campus. ![]() Construction of the seven-level parking structure for students and faculty at Temple University’s Health Science Campus was completed in December 2005. As the prime design firm, TimHaahs provided extensive project management services to guide the design and construction of this critical infrastructure. This 276,000 square-foot facility was built curb–to-curb on a tight urban site, amidst operating campus buildings, an elementary school, and a residential neighborhood. Site preparation required the underpinning of an adjacent two-story block structure. Elevated levels were constructed of precast concrete with security mesh panels. The facility features elevators, parking equipment, and restrooms. TimHaahs designed the structure for future horizontal expansion. ![]() |
