Temple University Carlisle Parking Structure - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania For Temple University, TimHaahs provided parking planning and design services for the 790-space Carlisle Parking Structure. ![]() The seven level parking structure serves students and faculty at the University’s Health Science Campus, which the University completed in 2005. As the prime design firm, TimHaahs provided extensive project management services to guide the design and construction of this critical infrastructure. This 276,000 square-foot facility was built curb–to-curb on a tight urban site, amidst operating campus buildings, an elementary school, and a residential neighborhood. Site preparation required the underpinning of an adjacent two-story block structure. Elevated levels were constructed of precast concrete with security mesh panels. TimHaahs also designed the structure for future horizontal expansion. ![]() |
