The Pennsylvania State University Vertical/Horizontal Expansions - State College, Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania State University, located in rural State College, PA, has been increasing its parking capacity to meet the needs of its growing community of staff, students, and visitors, as well as the expansion of the campus infrastructure. TimHaahs designed the expansions to the following campus parking facilities:

 Eisenhower Garage
 Nittany Inn Deck
 Hetzel Union Building Parking Deck



The one level vertical expansion of the Hetzel Union Building (HUB) Parking Deck, added approximately 86 spaces to the structure. TimHaahs provided construction documentation, and structural and graphic design services.



For the Eisenhower Garage, TimHaahs designed the expansion to add one level and 180 spaces to the existing five level structure. For the Nittany Inn Garage, the expansion included a net gain of 540 spaces.

These expanded structures serve the increasing student population and provide essential infrastructure for the university.
