The Promenade at Bayonne Mixed-Use Development - Bayonne, New Jersey The Promenade at Bayonne is located on the waterfront of the Newark Bay in Bayonne, NJ. TimHaahs provided parking consulting master planning services to the Kaplan Companies and Minno & Wasko, with a focus on properly integrating parking with a mix of uses including office, retail, and residential. TimHaahs performed a shared-use study to minimize the need for parking, and assisted with the functional and structural design of the structured parking. The site consists of two major intersecting boulevards which serve as primary pedestrian access points. Existing neighborhoods will tie into the new development through these access points. The Promenade will create a “people place” for residents and visitors of Bayonne to gather. The mixed-use development features residential/retail buildings, and numerous park/recreation areas including baseball and soccer fields, a community center, and a waterfront park. The development is compatible with existing adjacent land uses, and will serve as a catalyst for revitalization in the area.
