Turning Stone Casino Resort Parking Garage - Verona, New York TimHaahs, the engineer for designer/builder The Pike Company of Rochester, New York, provided a parking structure for the Turning Stone Casino Resort, an Enterprise of the Oneida Indian Nation, located in Verona, New York. The parking structure is part of an expansion of the Casino Resort, which is adjacent to a future hotel. This six story, precast, open parking structure provides 2402 spaces for casino patrons, which includes 567 spaces devoted for valet parking at the grade level. The overall dimension of the footprint is 492’ x 248’ with two 61’-8" exterior bays and two 61’-0" interior bays. The structure utilizes two-way 90° parking. An important aspect of the parking structure was to include architectural features developed by Brennan, Beer, and Gorman of New York City, along the elevations of the parking structure facing the casino. These architectural features include a smooth white finish for the precast members, metal trellises and a covered stair roof at the top level, metal canopies above the driveway entry/exits, and a cultured stone structure at grade level. |
