Two Christina Crescent Parking Garage - Wilmington, Delaware TimHaahs provided functional design, structural engineering, and parking consulting services for the five story, 1140- space Two Christina Crescent parking structure. The structure is located near the Wilmington train station, and provides parking for employees of the office complex, as well as the public. TimHaahs teamed with Moeckel Carbonell Associates, Inc., the architect for the corporate campus.  The parking garage is located across from a 270,000 square foot, six story retail/office building. The two structures can be accessed from the office complex by a park plaza and sunken garden. The structure features a combination of one-way, angled, flat bay parking, and two-way 90-degree parking on a single ramp bay. The two stairtowers are enclosed by a curtainwall on three sides, maximizing entry of natural light. Additional natural light is provided in the garage via three angled lightwells within the garage.  The Christina Crescent office campus is an attractive and exciting addition to Wilmington’s waterfront. The parking structure, in addition to the adjacent office building, beautifully complements the surrounding area’s historic atmosphere. |
