University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Parking Garage Condition Appraisal and Restoration - Newark, New Jersey For the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), TimHaahs provided condition appraisal and restoration services for the following facilities: • Norfolk garage • 12th Avenue Garage • Main Hospital Helipad • Steam Tunnel Terminus TimHaahs evaluated the condition of each facility and provided recommendations for repair, addressing structural, durability, and other issues for the garage. In addition, TimHaahs worked with the university to implement an appropriate restoration and maintenance program to help extend the service life of each facility. TimHaahs identified necessary repairs to resolve structural defects and improve durability measures, as well as addressed code compliance and life safety requirements. TimHaahs also performed an order of magnitude cost estimate for these repairs, as well as a prioritized repair program. TimHaahs is currently producing restoration documents for the first phase of repairs.
