Valdosta State University Parking Structures - Valdosta, Georgia In 2007 TimHaahs was retained by Valdosta State University to provide prime design services for two new parking structures on the university campus. The parking structures will be the first to be built on the campus. TimHaahs will lead the design team in collaboration with Cooper Carry and local architect McCall & Associates, Inc.  The two parking structures, which will total 2,000 spaces will also include a variety of mixed-use space. One of the structures will include 10,000 square feet of new office space for the university’s parking and recreation departments. The other structure will include over 20,000 square feet of office space for auxiliary services and public safety. The primary goal for these structures is to incorporate these uses into an efficient, user-friendly design. The project will be delivered using a fast track approach for both design and construction. The structures are expected to be completed in August 2008. |
