Willow Grove Park Mall Parking Structure & Pedestrian Bridge - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania As part of the mall’s comprehensive renovations and addition of an anchor department store, TimHaahs was retained by PREIT-Rubin Realty Trust, owners of the mall, to design the four-level, precast concrete parking structure. The other members of this design-build team were The Henderson Group, serving as the construction management firm, and High Concrete, serving as the precast firm. Within six months the construction was completed, while the mall remained open. ![]() The 212,000 square foot facility provides 800 parking spaces. The ability to further expand the garage was incorporated into the design. A precast concrete vehicle bridge allows for an entry/exit on the second garage level, in addition to several entrances on the ground level. The facility includes two glass-enclosed pedestrian bridges leading into the Food Court and also one into a department store. As security and safety are always prime considerations, and to allow users to feel more comfortable, the stairtowers incorporate glass walls to make the facility more architecturally appealing and increases one’s feeling of openness and safety. ![]() |
