Willow Grove Park Mall Parking Structure & Pedestrian Bridge - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania As part of the Willow Grove Mall’s comprehensive renovations and addition of an anchor department store, TimHaahs was selected by PREIT-Rubin Realty Trust, owners of the mall, to design the four-level, precast concrete parking structure. The other members of this design-build team were The Henderson Group, serving as the construction management firm, and High Concrete, serving as the precast firm. ![]() Construction for this project was completed within six months, while the mall remained open. The 212,000 square foot facility provides 800 parking spaces, and was designed with provisions for future expansion. A precast concrete vehicle bridge allows for an entry/exit on the second garage level, in addition to several entrances on the ground level. The facility includes two glass-enclosed pedestrian bridges leading into the Food Court, as well as one into a department store. In addition, the stairtowers incorporate glass walls to make the facility more architecturally appealing, to provide a high level of security, as well as to allow users to feel more comfortable. ![]() |
