We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment for the role of Project Engineer in our Alpharetta, GA office.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 3 to 5 years of experience in structural design preferably in multi-level parking or other commercial structures. Candidates with Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification are preferred. All candidates must have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS and SAP2000. Proficiency with Revit is a plus.
Structural Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Structural engineering and project coordination on cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete and steel structures.
• Preparing engineering calculations, structural drawings and details.
• Performing construction administration services related to shop drawing review and field visits.
• Researching code issues (building and structural).
