Architectural/Engineering Project Manager Posted: We are currently seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic professional with excellent communication, relationship building and project management skills for the role of Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in either Architecture or Engineering. All candidates must have 5-7 years of experience managing all phases of complex architectural/structural design projects from project set-up through design and into construction administration. Project management experience serving in the “prime” role with subconsultant management responsibility is a must. Experience with mixed use structures with a parking component is preferred. Project management candidates must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships. Candidates with experience managing and mentoring junior level staff are preferred. Candidates with a background in Architecture must meet the following criteria: • Registered architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Architecture. • A strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. • Well versed in master planning from the site analysis phase through conceptualization to final design. • Hand sketching and architectural rendering skills are preferred. • Proficiency with Revit Architecture (2009 or above) or a related Building Information Modeling (BIM) program is a plus. Candidates with a background in Engineering must meet the following criteria: • Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering. • A strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and ETABS. • Proficiency with ADAPT and Revit Structure is a plus. TimHaahs Project Managers are responsible for complete project “ownership” including but not limited to: • Architectural Design/Structural Engineering • Project Interviews/Presentations • Contract negotiation & management • Coordination of scope & schedule of deliverables • Chairing project meetings and prepare meeting minutes. • Monitoring project profitability (plan & track hours, review project financial information with accounting, monitor account receivable, etc.) • Managing subconsultants • Construction administration Posted: We are currently seeking a highly talented, enthusiastic professional with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to work well in a team environment for the role of Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in structural design preferably in multi-level parking or other commercial structures. Candidates with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license are preferred but those currently working towards attaining their P.E. license will also be considered. All candidates must have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and ETABS. Proficiency with ADAPT and Revit Structure is a plus. Project Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Structural engineering on cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete and steel structures. • Preparing engineering calculations, structural drawings and details. • Performing construction administration services related to shop drawing review and field visits. • Researching building and structural code issues. • Assisting Project Managers with coordinating schedule of deliverables, chairing project meetings & preparing meeting minutes, managing subconsultants and other duties as required.
