Rahway Town Center Master Plan Receives Smart Growth Award From NJ Future
Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. (TimHaahs) is honored to receive one of NJ Future’s Smart Growth Awards for the Rahway Town Center Master Plan project in Rahway, NJ for the category of Town Center Revitalization Plan. These awards are comprised of a diverse group of innovative development and redevelopment projects located in cities, towns and townships across New Jersey. The awards recognize initiatives ranging from reuse of a historic building in Newark and major downtown redevelopment projects in Camden and New Brunswick, to an affordable housing project in Morristown and a revitalized town center and transit-friendly redevelopment project in Rahway. The New Jersey Future Smart Growth Awards honor projects and plans—approved or built – that reflect the most forward-looking development and redevelopment practices in New Jersey. The Rahway Town Center plan will help to maximize land use while providing a people place for gathering, eating, and shopping. The integration of parking will prove for a successful outcome of the town center plan. “Our firm is honored to be recognized for helping our client fulfill their vision, while also bettering New Jersey and the City of Rahway”, says Haahs.
