3rd Annual Parking Seminar a Success for TimHaahs’ Atlanta Office
Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. (TimHaahs) hosted its 3rd annual parking seminar on September 10, 2008 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Midtown Atlanta. This all day event drew close to 150 professionals from the A/E/C industry. By attending, guests could earn up to 5 valuable AIA/CES continuing education learning units. The seminar included a number of presentations given by professionals with extensive credentials in the parking and development industry. Guests learned a critical message – proper planning and the effective integration of parking is essential to the success of mixed-use, free-standing and transit oriented developments. Additional sessions focused on trends in Transit Oriented Development, financing alternatives for public/private initiatives, driving economic development through parking, mixed-use design, and trends in parking technology. The seminar concluded with a catered cocktail reception, giving attendees an opportunity for networking. This TimHaahs’ annual event will move to the Philadelphia/North New Jersey area for 2009.
