TimHaahs Leads TOD Panel at Philadelphia ULI Urban Marketplace
On May 13th, more than 400 people gathered at the Union League in downtown Philadelphia for a dynamic day-long conference that convened the private, public, and community development sectors of our region’s real estate industry, to promote investment opportunities and development strategies for revitalizing urban and suburban markets. TimHaahs’ Vice President, Jim Zullo, CAPP, LEED AP created a panel and served as moderator for a panel discussing “Developing and Revitalizing Around Density – People, Parking and Transit”. The session attracted an engaged audience anxious to learn more about parking and transit. Participants from the private, public, and non-profit sectors shared experiences and best practices, laying a foundation for future collaborative efforts – in Philadelphia and surrounding counties, Central Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley, the Poconos, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Participants discussed critical issues impacting redevelopment in a highly interactive program with many networking opportunities. In addition to keynote addresses, breakout sessions focused on deal-making and investment and offered access to experts in real estate development, community development finance, conventional lending, mezzanine/private equity capital, legal issues, real estate brokerage, urban planning, architecture, community outreach and government/public affairs. Exhibitors provided resources on lending, development and professional services. Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. was proud to co-chair and serve as a Title Sponsor for the 2nd Annual Urban Marketplace event.
