Habitat for Humanity – TimHaahs Gives Back
Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. has a unique mission statement – We Exist to Help Those in Need. In line with this mission, on June 23rd, 2010, volunteers from TimHaahs’ Philadelphia office traveled to New Castle, DE to assist in a build project for Habitat for Humanity. On one of the hottest days of the summer, TimHaahs staff endured the heat working to better the lives of people in need. “We most likely will never meet the people who will live in this house, but it feels great to lend a hand to those that are less fortunate and need our help. There is so much we take for granted on a daily basis and this is just one way to give back with a serving heart,” stated Adrienne Fessler. Chris Gray, PE, organized the build day as a result of the earlier Delaware Valley Builders Competition in March of this year. TimHaahs also formed a team for the first event in the competition to build frames for houses that will be used in new Habitat for Humanity homes. The TimHaahs team is honored to be part of something that has such a positive impact on those in need.
