Miami Design District City View Garage Project Wins PPA Award!

Posted on

The Pennsylvania Parking Association (PPA) recently announced the winners of the 2015 PPA Awards at its annual conference in Pittsburgh on October 1st. We are honored to have received a top award for the Miami Design District City View Garage project.

Awarded in the category of New Parking Structure, The City View mixed-use facility includes 559 parking spaces and offers visitors their first experience to the Design District in Miami, Florida. The facility serves as an intriguing visual to invite passersby to come check out the area. Further, the garage provides a dynamic view from the air, featuring a rooftop mural that depicts a radar-like image of a live hurricane. The City View garage undoubtedly offers visitors an exciting “first impression” to the Design District experience. It is one of few destinations of its kind that combines the ideas of art, architecture, community, and culture together into one place, and ensures that the development is an international destination for years to come.

Our firm served as the Architect of Record and worked with Dacra, L Real Estate, Leong Leong, and Iwamoto Scott on the design of this groundbreaking project.  We are thrilled to have been recognized by PPA with this honor!
